After over 30 years teaching theatre in high school and privately, Sharon is a professional teaching artist  and member of Teaching Artist Alliance.  Her workshops specialize in directing, stage management, Acting the Moment, Character Development through the use of movement and masks, RASA Boxes, and Paper (or Trash) Bag Costumes.  She is also a professional director, stage manager, actress an arts advocate.   Some of her favorite acting projects include playing Grandma in The Addams Family, Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet, Miss Hannigan in Annie, Golde in Fiddler on the Roof and Dottie in Noises Off.  Sharon served as the Artistic Director for Theatre West Virginia for the past 6 years and is a professional member of the Educational Theatre Association.  She is currently the Nevada Thespian State Co-Director. She is also a member of EdTA’s Advocacy Leadership Network and serves on several national committees to further excellence in educational theatre.
