Venus-Tyané Kuya stirs devised theatre, Foley sound, and storytelling into playful workshops that spark student imagination, authentic voice, and leadership. With a gift for turning ordinary objects into extraordinary soundscapes and personal stories into bold performances, she transforms classrooms into spaces of creativity, collaboration, and joy.
Raised between America and Germany, Venus-Tyané carries a multicultural lens that infuses her work with a deep sense of empathy and cross-cultural connection. Her artistic journey began in Berlin, where she studied Musical Theatre before earning a B.A. in Global Arts & Culture and Global Education. She also holds an Executive MBA in Arts Innovation, a degree that fuels her ability to blend artistry, education, and leadership in fresh and sustainable ways. From the grand stage of Friedrichstadtpalast to the intimate corners of Jazzclub Neukölln, and later with organizations like Nickelodeon and Stories that Soar!, Venus-Tyané built a reputation for making every performance an unforgettable experience.
Today, she brings that same flair to education—inviting students to experiment, take risks, and craft narratives that reflect who they are. Her devised theatre and Foley-based workshops empower young people to lead with authenticity, embrace their creativity, and connect across cultures.
Venus-Tyané’s work has carried her across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Estonia, the Czech Republic, India, South Korea, and Japan, but her focus always returns to the transformative power of the arts at the local level. She believes every student’s story matters and that storytelling can plant seeds of empathy, leadership, and change.
From classrooms to community stages, Venus-Tyané is dedicated to helping young people discover the magic of their own voices—nurturing leaders, artists, and changemakers one story at a time.
