Gordon Hensley holds a BA and MFA in theatre, has been a college professor since 1999, and is a

Fulbright Scholar. He works as a freelance teaching artist, a narrator for Audible/iTunes, and as a

teaching artist for Mehron makeup.

Gordon worked professionally with a Playback Theatre company for five years in Phoenix, Arizona, and has attended Theatre of the Oppressed training with Julian Boal.

Gordon has worked professionally as a puppeteer, actor, and singer in the national and regional arenas

for companies including Paramount and Theatre IV. He successfully completed Dick Smith’s professional

makeup course and has currently worked makeup and wigs backstage on 18 national Broadway tours.
