Jamey Grisham

Jamey Grisham is an award-winning master-of-all-artistic-trades. A multidisciplinary storyteller, his body of work ranges from the educational to the professional, the inaugural to the well-established, and the national to the international. During his twelve seasons of tenure as an Artist-in-residence at the Barn Theatre (Michigan,) Jamey has been honored with nine Encore Michigan Wilde Award© nominations for regional professional theatre including the 2017 win for Best Choreography (DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID) and the 2018 win

for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (RENT.) As a resident creative director with Celebrity Cruises, Jamey’s productions have garnered four 2018 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards© for Premium Ship Entertainment (THE CHANDELIER, SOUNDTRACK, ELYSIUM, EUPHORIA). He also serves as the co-founder and director of the Youth Shakespeare Initiative of the Pied Piper Playhouse (Mississippi) and remains an Artist-in-residence with the multi-award-winning Princess Cruise Lines (California). Jamey is an active member of various professional

unions and guilds including the Actors’ Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA, and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. Training and education includes Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of

Performing Arts Theatre Conservatory (BFA, Newberry Library Fellow), Brown University (MFA, Stephen Sondheim Fellow), London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, Royal Shakespeare Company, Tectonic Theater Project, Joffrey Ballet, and Harvard University.
